Earth Day ~ Julian Certified Farmer's Market Seasonal Opening!

Happy Earth Day and congratulations to Earth Day Poster Contest winner Ryan Lay!

This Sunday, April 22nd an energetic group of farmers, artisans, specialty foods producers and local musicians will join together at Wynola Farms Marketplace to celebrate Earth Day and kick off the new Farmers' Market season. Now in its 3rd year, the Julian Certified Farmers' Market continues its efforts to provide a fun and comfortable place for locals and tourists alike to relax, shop and enjoy live music.
The Farmers' Market is held every Sunday, rain or shine, April through December. The Market is open 11:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
We welcome Karla Willis as the new Farmers' Market manager. Rather than simply a source for locally grown organic produce, Karla envisions the Market as a weekly gathering place.
This season the Farmers' Market will take place on and around the patio adjacent to Wynola's Daily Perc coffee shop BEHIND Wynola Farms Marketplace. The Daily Perc coffee shop will be serving specialty coffee and tea, including an organic option, in addition to offering BBQ'd corn on the cob and organic hot dogs and grass fed beef burgers on Farmers' Market days.

The Earth Day musical lineup will feature Highwire, the Farmers' Market "house band", along with a performance by Paul Cruz (of Grand Canyon Sundown) and a debut performance by Charley and Jesie. The music will begin just before noon and continue throughout the day. This year promises to be the biggest and best Earth Day Celebration yet!
We are located at 4470 Hwy 78 in Julian, California in the pastoral Wynola Valley three miles West of Main Street. There is always plenty of free and easy parking around the building. Whatever your reason for attending, your presence is what makes the weekly Julian Certified Farmers' Market a success.
